 Let’s start with nutrition. Diet is the foundation of health. Eat wholesome, organic and fresh food including seven servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Never skip breakfast. Have a plentiful breakfast, medium size lunch and light dinner. Eat three meals and two snacks a day two to three hours apart. Each meal and snack should be balanced with complex carbohydrates, quality proteins and Healthy fats. Avoid Saturated and trans fats and consume MUFA’s (Monounsaturated Fatty Acids) and PUFA’s (Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids)

·         Whole milk products

·         Nuts

·         High fat fruits such as olives and avocados

·         Olive oil

·         Sunflower oil (the high oleic variety)

·         Canola oil and

·         Cashews

·         Whole Wheat

 

PUFA’s

 

There are two main types of PUFA’s — omega-3’s and omega 6’s :

 

Omega - 3’s

·         Fatty fish

·         Shellfish

·         Liver and in some seeds like

Omega-6’s

·         Flax

·         Nuts

·         Legumes, and also in

·         Properly-raised animal products

.Remember to chew your food 30 times each mouthful to stimulate digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid.
